7262 is Menghai's middle-range/grade traditional cooked tea cake. The recipe of this tea cake was first introduced in 1972 as a higher grade alternative to other product range such as 8592 and 7572 at that time. The outer layer of this tea cake is covered with tea buds while the inner contents comprises of larger tea leaves. 7262 is still a popular formula from Menghai Tea Factory after so many years. The fermentation process of this formula is believed to be perfect, making it possible to enjoy Pu'er tea of this high quality at a much more affordable price.

Reviews & Ratings
This is a very good tea. The first steeping was dark amber, slightly fruity and slightly sweet. The second steeping was less fruity and actually darker but still sweet. There was no bitterness or off flavor. There is no need to age this tea before drinking. I think it will make a good iced tea. The tea cake arrived in perfect condition and wrapped in heavy duty plastic. The wrapper was sealed with a small, elaborately printed tape seal.
