Wonderfully smooth and rich puerh. It has a quite complex and appealing taste; a perfectly balanced sweetness, nice sourness and not so bitter, deep but not too heavy. I like it very much.

High quality cake, extremely approachable; sweetly smokey aroma; refined and mellow on the palate. Just not the pu for me. (For reference, the 6FTM Jingmai ’04, now sold out, really IS the pu for me.)

Good slightly aged sheng cake. Leaves are showing good signs of aging, and the smokiness of the dry leaves almost completely disappears after a quick wash. Complex, woody and sweet. Still has a ways to go in the endurance department, but it’s young and worth aging. Royal Puer customers--as of 2-18-08, there are still some whole cakes for sale on Teaspring.com, the companion site. Get them while they’re hot!
