The tea leaves of this tea cake are harvested from Xiang Shan (Elephant Mountain in English), so named because there used to be a tree growing on top of the mountain which bears close resemblance to a giant elephant. Xiang Shan series of tea cakes are highly regarded by Pu'er connoisseurs due to the exceptional quality of the tea leaves and fair pricing. This is one of Menghai's best cooked Pu'er productions.
