| Shu (Cooked) Pu'er |
|
Shu Pu'er, also known as Cooked, Ripe, or Black Pu'er is processed just like Sheng Pu'er, but with an
extra post-fermentation step which serves to accelerate the aging process in order to imitate the
taste and fragrance of an aged Sheng Pu'er tea. Shu Pu'er is immediately drinkable though it can
still benefit from further aging.
